I think that will be my standard as well since it meets all of the ILSAC GF-5 and API SN SM certifications in the service manual. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk |

Yeah advanced fuel economy, if you look up this car on mobile1s website this is one of the oils they recommend. I buy he 5qt jug from Walmart online, should be about $25-$30 then a single quart in case I need to top off.

A 5 quart jug and another single quart "in case you need to top off?"
What do you mean?

Yeah, when doing an oil change if I just pour the 5qrt jug in it still isn't enough. You need 5.5 qrts, thus needing that extra single qrt bottle. Also later if its hot month and I'm driving hard I may need that last .5qrt to top it off (keep the oil line in the middle). I haven't had to top it off in a while but I expect to need to at least once or twice this summer outside the norm

Oil fill capacity is actually 5.8 not 5.5, per the manual.

So far it's been terrific, I do a lot of highway commute 80% of the time with 20% city driving. I combined it with Mobil 1 oil filter as well. My fuel economy has consistently been on average 30-31 MPG. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Doesn't really matter what you use as long as it works for your specifications and needs your good to go. I know the guys rave go nuts over Motul I'm sure it's amazing but Mobil 1 has served me well on my cars I've owned and hasn't let me down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mobil 1 Extended Performance, and I presume Annual Performance now have reduced levels of calcium and additional magnesium.
Will Amsoil change their formulas to deal with the negative effects of high dose calcium on GDI engines? |
