I would prefer the FR-S front end over the BRZ front end but to be honest with a license plate there (mandatory where I live) it doesn't bother me at all and in fact I actually really like it. The Scion FR-S looks better without a front license plate but I don't like the look of it with one.

If I did get an FR-S (and I was considering it depending on the price difference between the two) I would have to pull the stereo out of the FR-S immediately and put something real in there. It has bothered me since I saw it and just can't stand the sight of it.

The cloth seats in the BRZ are on a whole different level as those the FR-S have. I don't think it's fair at all to say the two have the same interior.

And while the trunk liner may not be a big deal to some it is just one of those little things that slowly adds up. It really seems like an odd thing to omit.

The HID's are a big seller to me though. The biggest actually. The badge means nothing to me. If i had the choice I would want the Toyota badge on my vehicle (don't know why, guess I'm weird) but I would probably actually prefer Scion over Subaru since there are Subaru's EVERYWHERE here and I've only ever seen one Scion here (no dealerships within a 2 hour drive from here).

I'm not trying to convince anybody to switch or tell somebody they are wrong in preferring the FR-S over the BRZ. I'm just saying that I think when you consider the HID's, the Nav, the better seats, and the completed interior (trunk liner) I can definitely see where the extra money went to and I understand the people giving up on the FR-S to make the switch to the BRZ.

Precisely!

Scion is still Toyota, no matter how many people ruin their cars.

And this Zx6 is the same car, be it Subaru, Scion, or Toyota. They are just in different trims...

Still far too much money for this car overall (it's WRX price!!), but if I had to pick, it would be the BRZ easily when comparing price, features at said prices, and one doesn't have that "cheap" Scion badge.

It is a WRX Base price, not Premium price. It has many more options than the base WRX. Not a fair comparison.

It, like the front end, look much better in person. It was a concern of mine as well until I sat in one.

look at cobb tuning dyno numbers for the BRZ

164hp 142tq at the wheels... really 25k for this?
Stop judging the car just by numbers alone. Go test drive one first

It seems after all the positive reviews that people would do that first before looking at the numbers and discounting it. I don't remember what post it was but someone made the comment regarding the Lotus Elise only having a little over 200hp, and asking if that made it suck...

The silver on the Subaru will probably glare horribly. I much prefer the fake carbon fiber.
