Maybe the rear seat are simply clamped in, for quick removal. This would allow them to be removed under autox rules for stock classes. I wouldn't hate that idea.
![]() Glad to see not everyone is planning to put a turbo in this thing straight from the lot. |

For the FI route, I'm hoping that they would offer a supercharger first, but I can see the difficulty in mounting it on a flat-4 anyway. Aftermarket FI always scared me too much to do on a daily driver. |

I agree with several others when it comes to the power figures... pretty close to what I've been expecting since I started following the car with the MKI concept so I'm not disappointed.
Is it sad that one of the most exciting things to me from this set of leaks is the seating position? It looks like my 6'1" frame may actually fit comfortably in the front after working the dimensions, which has been the one thing preventing me from getting *too* excited about the BRZ. *First post for a long time creeper, first time poster.* |

I'm still really excited about this car, never had anything like this so 200bhp will feel super quick anyway, not so fussed about FI. Also reconsidering taking out the back seats, they seem to be designed as one with the centre console, taking the seats out would make the console just stretch out into open space which would probably look crap. Glad they fold down though, means I'll have ample space for all my shit when I'm flying back and forth between home and uni

+1. 12.5:1 static CR with DI is very nice for n/a.

Yes, high compression is very responsive to flow mods.

Why does this thread have "BRZ" in its title when the brochure only says "FR-S"?
Subaru didn't release this or any info like this did they? I realize many think they are identical except for the nameplate, but there is (still) hope that the BRZ will be different (better) than the low cost, low power Toyota version of the platform, yes? |

Wait, that last photo makes it look like a hatch-trunk, similar to the TC. Is it a hatch? Sure looks like it to me, since it has the hydraulic things holding it up.
