I am interested in getting a manual Lexus SC300..

I am standing between waiting for a long time or just getting a brand new 86 or simply buying a lexus SC with a 2JZ-GE...

Manual SC300s are rare. Would you consider a manual IS300? I saw one for sale quite recently on Dubizzle.

They should find ways to justify the price tag..

Honestly if the base model got 17" alloys, the nice gauge cluster from the
mid-range model, genuine stereo, cruise control and a pair of exhaust tips; then people would probably take it more seriously..

Just like scion FRS which sells for 24950$ (AED 92000K) in the USA:

I would still want to get one though....

In the US its being sold over msrp due to the high demand and low availability, and in japan The lowest spec 86, the RC model has no A/C, no fogs, no LSD, no radio, comes with black steel wheels and unpainted front and rear bumpers costs 93000K AED, The closest japanese car you can compare in UAE's market is The full options 6mt 167hp miata which Costs 113K AED

Well I am not sure if locally, it will surpass the presence of mustangs on the streets...

Many people I met have mocked the car and found it dull and pointless..

Though FT86UAE told me personally, that people mocked FJs when they came to the UAE but now we have so many FJs on the streets its not even funny..

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1iHPNgaPM4"]Motoring Middle East - Meet 12 - YouTube[/ame]

Also Toyota UAE just replied to me by facebook regarding the special orders (higher spec manual):

"Thanks for getting in touch, unfortunately at the moment this is correct and we are unable to order this as it is not available to us from our suppliers.

We have sent a request to our product team to see if there is anyway that this can be done and will let you know the answer asap. "

Atleast they replied

Many People start mocking the 86 after knowing its HP numbers and the lack of luxury features, i advice them to buy the oversized heavy muscle cars, they miss the propose of making this car which is the fun of driving it, FJ succeeded because it was an affordable 4x4, and now its not affordable, if the 86 was an 4x4 car, you will see them everywhere and mostly in white or silver.

I think AL Khoury will have the high spec manual brz in december, the BRZ is sexy, i have seen it in person, and if you didn't like the front end, you can change the bumper to 86 or any aftermarket one
