Exactly. I haven't fully explored the handling as it works now. Nah, it was just an irrational moment. I'm in full agreement with all but one of @humfrz' points.

Ah the days before CGI. Impressive acrobatics considering the guy probably couldn't see anything when doing them.

You'd be surprised what you can do once you get accustomed to wearing the costume. Back in the day I worked at an amusement park in Virginia as a costume character. There was a trampoline act at the park that once a week did their entire advanced trampoline act dressed as various Hanna Barbera characters. We also played an annual softball game to raise money for charity (in costume) against a local radio station. Sort of a Harlem globetrotters type of thing. Catching the ball was usually a problem, but we did OK at bat.

It looks like someone used a pry bar to try to pry the window open .....

What all was damaged ... to cost $2900 to repair/replace ... ??

they bashed it with a rock about the size of a softball. it was on the ground right next to the car.

the damaged the roof, the door so bad the skin will have to be replaced, the trim on the door as well and the front/rear windows will have to be R&I'd to do the paint. then you've got blending the paint into the next panels to make sure it matches. matching this paint is a real bear because ot the metallic finish.
