Never thought I'd say this but I miss the mundane role of the server guy.

End user support surely makes 8 hours fly by really fast but.. so many one-off issues.

$User: "Hey, this is a loaner laptop. Where's the network share that is supposed to be here?"

Me: *Remotes in* "Oh, just click here."

$User: "What do you know! Thanks! Can you help me with this other issue?"

Me: *Sighs*

That's a really well framed shot! Did you plan it that way? Great eyes, regardless.

Too messy for me.

Am I the only person in the world who cleans my hotel room before housekeeping comes in? I hope that's a normal thing to do

Who lets housekeeping in? I just trade towels, etc.

Well, I reckon that depends on what-cha been doing in your room......??

If you're afraid that housekeeping is going to call the animal cruelty people .... or the health department ..... or DEA ...... then it would be a good idea to clean up your "mess" .......

No I noticed the angle when we came in to dock. (Was out flying in a friend's seaplane). I was in the older one not the Carbon Cub with the glass cockpit.

I stay in a room for too long to go without cleaning, I usually go about 10 days without cleaning.

Nothing out of the ordinary, I just feel like a giant slob if I leave a mess for someone else to clean up.

My first one looked like below. Hyperion computer. Beat the Compaq to market by about 3 months, was 10 lbs lighter (at 18 lbs vs 28 for the Compaq) and came with a very nice carrying case that I still have somewhere. It would fit under the seat of an airplane.

I used to haul it strapped to the back seat of my '83 Honda Silverwing GL650 all over the DC metro area.

It was a much better design than the Compaq but didn't make it because it was also twice the price at about $4,500 versus $2,700 for the Compaq
