It gets you some more track width (helpful until you start hitting the fender) but width-wise it gets you an increase only in the rear. I don't see that as super helpful; most of the pointy end guys aren't fighting a lot of oversteer and I don't anticipate they will jump to take advantage.

Not to mention you lose the ability to rotate front to rear.

Also if deemed legal you'll need to be careful on combinations. Your base offset must be the same for all four corners, as it's not possible to order the car with two normal wheels and two TRD wheels, and if you use the TRD offsets as your base you must run 7.5" wheels on the rear.

going in for an alignment next week,

does anyone know which way the rear toe goes when the rear end goes up?

if I set 0 toe with a full trunk and gas tank, how will this change when I take everything out and run 1/8th of gas?

Send a message via AIM to King Tut
My understanding is that rear toe should change very little if any with rear ride height changes.

Doug Gill with SCCA said that they are legal for 2015 models since they are available on the build your own part of the Scion website. Does anyone have any proof about the 2013/2014 FRS being the same (maybe there is a prior website or the dealer has an older order book with them)...

Is there a letter to the SAC/SEB about this, or is Doug just answering a personal email??

Any personal emails answered are NOT official. You could still lose a protest without proper documentation.

If there is a letter about this in the works, then we may be looking forward to a ruling next Fastrak.

He responded to my letter to SEB #17201. I will keep you updated, and you can follow the letter...

I know the process (done it for MANY years at a National level and been thru the protest process and always won with proper documentation and following by the letter of the rules)...

Yes you have to drill it out, use a bit that is as close to the stem size as possible, even to the point of buying one. This is one modification that is allowed for installing shocks.

Hi guys! I will be autoxing this weekend and want to run as low fuel I can possibly do. I just want to make sure our cars doesn't have fuel starvation issue, right?

Thanks for confirming. I knew it was legal and went ahead and did it, but I hadn't seen anyone really mention it (though I didn't search too hard).

In other news - CS is currently the largest class for Nationals, with 31 of 387 entries of this writing. This is my first trip out to Nationals, and I'm psyched to be a part of the healthiest class in the category.

I count at least three jacket winners registered and know of at least one more who is planning to show. Tough class.

Anyone have a seat open? I have to do arrive-and-drive this year due to work. I already have my hotel booked (and extra bed) and have some car options, but I really want to be in a CS frs/brz.
