I decided to stay in this year, since I always drink way too much and I didn't want to deal with a 2 day hangover. Instead I grabbed a few choice beers and I'm watching some movies. It's a nice change of pace.

I could even go to the New Years Levee my regiment holds tomorrow and be ready to get drunk there. Though I'll have to polish my parade boots, and I realllllllllllly don't want to do that.

Might need to order some food to counteract the juice.

Doesn't help that its so damn slow, more than usual

One would see that Stugray was trying to defend the mods while impureclient had his tirade.

Then impureclient personally attacked stugray repeatedly while breaking the no religion policy himself. (while stugray did NOT attack anyone)

You closed that thread while stugray posted his response to impureclient on the "random thoughts" thread (where else??)
His response had absolutely ZERO religious content, and was not even directed at the "Crank pulley" crowd at all. (stugray merely replaces "religious fanatics" with "faith-based modders" to avoid violating the rules)
It was merely an almost exact quote (nearly word for word) from impureclient, but with the religious attacks removed.

Stugray also added a few quotes that were originally directed at religious topics, but again with the religious verbiage removed.

So apparently stugray was banned for either: posting nearly exact quotes from impureclient himself, OR he was banned for admitting he was an atheist on the "No religion" thread while being attacked by impureclient.

And on top of all that, the person making the blatant religious attacks was NOT banned.

Quotes from impureclient:
"Atheists are such assholes. Protected speech!"

"What's the matter are you also butthurt because I called atheists assholes?"

So I guess now I will be banned for pointing out the hypocrisy.
And this is NOT an attack on the actions of ichi as he was trying to actually "moderate".
Ichi even warned the two posters that they might BOTH be disciplined, but then stugray did nothing else after the warning to warrant banning.

Then the admin took one post out of context and banned the wrong person.

To be fair, I PM'ed ichi to not close, but take a look at that thread and use his best judgment since I saw no value from that thread and it was just chock full of shit-slinging. No one was banned as a result of that thread.

Getting the TCM reflashed tomorrow. Hope all goes well and this stupid thing gets fixed.

I hate to admit this but if the issues don't go away, maybe I should've gotten a manual. =.=
