That is why I held off for as long as I did. The center console kneepads and this armrest alone accounts for $300+ spent. I'm not telling anyone else anymore after a few already chuckled at it; "you're shitting me, the car doesn't come with an armrest?", "dude you're getting old... why your knees hurt?". And I'm definitely not discussing it with the wife lest she goes on a retribution trip to the mall.. "well you spend a few hundred on padding for your car ....."

Damn, I really want one of these but I live in Australia. I guess I'll never get one... hopefully the aftermarket bring some out!

Also, found this on eBay;

There was also another one like it, no logo and it was a bit shorter though (Notice the little hole in front of it, that is why the flatter one that is being unboxed on this forum has the "chopped corner" to cover up this hole).

My OEM armrest came in today but with no template or installation instructions.
How do you pop the caps off of the padding cover?
What are the black washers used for?

Template, and instructions:

Very small screwdriver will pop the caps off, just be careful.

@914_WHITE_FRS On the underside of the padded part there are caps over alen key bolts. Take all that apart and then screw the frame down and then re attach the armrest

i got this for awhile now...it is cheaper and more versatile and flexible in how you want to use it. Also, with this you can fully utilize the cup holder. compared with the other ones posted here once you close the lid you can't really use the cup holder. it has lots of padding to keep your arms comfy.

only $64 and no drilling or modifications needed.
