Atheism and science are not religions, solely because atheism and science do not have an idol, deity, or prophet to worship.

Science is merely what we as humans have been able to theorize and observe for the time we've been spinning on this giant rock in outer space. Whether one believes science is the way things are and explains everything, or just the way their deity has made the world and we are just learning how He/She/They/Etc did it, or that science is the one true enemy of religion is completely up to the beholder.

Difference in these beliefs are where things get messy and why we as humans can't have nice things.

And just for the record, I don't see anyone here attacking any religions. I only see Stu being himself about people who do not use a normalized metric when installing parts to their vehicles. Which, personally, I understand because there's no way I'm spending $$$$ on a part or produced that I can't see the improvement it makes.

Sorry, your definition of religion is wrong.

Religion: a pursuit or interest to which someone ascribes supreme importance.

This is a bunch of anti-religion bullshit rhetoric and it is sad that they are allowing it in here because that is shitty but I expect nothing less from that type of lost person.
Maybe losing a parent/family member was too much for these folks and bringing everybody down with them is their way of "getting back" at God. Misery loves company.

All I did was take some other famous quotes (and one that pissed a particular member off) about 'that thing that shall not be mentioned in this forum' and modified them to remove all reference to 'it'.

I am merely pointing out that it is essentially impossible to remove "anything religious" from a discussion since one definition of religion is:
"Those beliefs which an individual considers to be of high importance"
i.e "football is his religion".
Believing that "crank pulleys increase horsepower" is a religious belief.

By merely stating "Bro's Before Ho's" I have made a religious statement.

So kind of hard having ANY discussion if you are never allowed to discuss "beliefs that you hold dear" whether they are spiritual or otherwise.

If saying the above violates the rules then "what can I say?"
