Not terribly lame. Remember that super low murder rate? Norway is measurably one of the happiest countries in the world.

Taxes are the cost of living in a civil society. While I don't necessarily agree with how the taxes are levied, and I think sales tax is regressive, I would gladly pay significantly more to provide for the common welfare of all.

Your point? I voted for President Trump and, given the choices I had then and his record so far, I would again. I also can't stand light beer of any kind, and Bud Light is a particularly egregiously bad example of the ilk. My favorite beer is Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale.

Again... your point?
I'm not even going to get into it.
Like Ashi said... Politics is a no no on here for some reason.

So the forum doesn't divulge into a flame war full of adults acting like children over issues that can be resolved by actually talking to each other and not attacking each other.

Hi ya ....SoNotCool .......

Good to see someone else uses their car for road trips.

A word about luggage space. mrs humfrz and I traveled over 80,000 touring miles in an NC Miata, with a 4 cu. ft. trunk, over much of the mid-west and the western US and western Canada ..... 2-4 weeks at a time.

Unless you are going to take skis or bicycles, there is no reason why you would need extra cargo space "on" a twin.

The secret is to pack "light and tight", kind of like you're going on a motorcycle or backpacking. We found that soft sided bags are best for packing. Shoes are trunk hogs ..... just how many pair can you wear at a time .. ?? As far as clothes, wear them till they start to stink ..... if you keep moving ..... you don't see the same people twice anyway.

Like they say about traveling in Europe ......"take less stuff and more money".

Have fun road trips!

Well now, that sounds like a fun trip .......

What I had to do with mrs humfrz is that we had custom fitted, soft sided bags made just for a Miata trunk. So, I gave her two of the larger bags to pack and told her that when they were full ....... that's all she could take. Plus, she got the glove box ......

As far as tools, our Miata didn't even have a spare tire ....... so, my main "tools" were a cell phone and a roadside assistance card.

Happy trails!
