Aghh..back when making a mix tape really was a labor of love that took hours to get just right, not an afterthought that took 10 seconds in iTunes...

Gotta love butthurt people. I missed my deadline by a few hours, I just made a new thread that conformed to the rules.

A whole 5 minutes of my time, wasted! Lol

Oh did I? Well, I'm glad, you're more easy going and make another thread. Next time those things happen you can PM saying to un-delete the thread, so you update it. I've un-deleted the FS thread for members before, but a lot of time those members prefer to complain at me.

I felt that it'd be easier for both of us if I just made a new thread, like I said it's a whole 5 minutes lol.

An a different but similar note, why do people ask so much for old, dirty beat up STI's with 100k+ miles? No one wants to pay that much for your beat up that needs work, when anyone with financial common sense could just go buy a newer WRX from a dealer and get a warranty. Drives me up the wall!

Very wise! But some member prefer to complain to me is "easier".

As for expensive old STI, sometimes to do with insurance as well. newer car equal to more expensive insurance. Sometimes, monthly payment is lil bit higher than they wish for in newer cars. But 90% of the time, ppl believe that they cannot afford it cuz it's "new" without search more detail on that.

Now it's a labor of love where I use editing software to get the track gaps and crossfades just right. Mine are masterpieces, literally.

Please...

On our first anniversary, I created MomHawk a mix tape that not only did that, but included voiceovers, and narrations telling the story of our time together. I did it all with a record player, a double cassette player and a radio shack microphone. Took me about 3 weeks.

When I updated it for our 20th anniversary, I copied all that to CD, and created a second CD (Volume 2) with an update including our children, etc. That one took less than 8 hours.

If I do a volume 3 next year for our 30th, it will include video updates, new songs, etc and will probably take, oh maybe a long Saturday afternoon.

Good job! I'm pretty sure Momhawk will enjoy it

It's ok to admit phoning it in after all those years. Maybe take up oil painting to prove your love.
