Just had some girls roll down their window at a light, "what kind of Subaru is that?!" (Debadged)
"It's a BRZ." Said it as cool as I could while trying to hide a smile.
"Oh a BRZ? Cool thanks!"

First time that's happened with this car, didn't think it would make my day. Hah

My buddy seen my car for the first time today... He then started to say that the gt86 is a bit different from the brz. They have bigger brakes, and is a little bit faster than the brz according to him lol

God, I know that feeling. Especially for being as young as I am (21) the upper management people where I work at drives new 5 Series BMWs and the newest Infinti Q50 and Q60(G37) cars and also the 2010+ Acura TLs. I got a question from one of the big guys with my 05 Acura RL "How did you qualify to buy that car?" Kinda pissed me off but I kept my cool and just said "Oh, that's my dad's car!"

Was out for a late lunch (3ish) right when school let out so I ended up having to wait at crosswalks for kids to cross. The kids were lovin' the car! Got a whole bunch of thumbs up and waves as they walked by. One kid almost tripped on the curb cause he was walking backward mesmerized by my headlights haha

Enthusiast tested, kid approved!

I had multiple people come up to me at gas stations but my favorite is when I was driving on the freeway and a really nice yellow corvette pulled up next to me and says "nice" multiple times while nodding his head. Put the biggest smile on my face

I was at Best Buy and there were a group of kids standing outside and as I approached, one of the guys said "Wow cool car, that must be your dads?" I didn't respond, when I was leaving they were all standing around my car and as I got in and started to drive off I rolled the window down and told the kid, "Hey, the answer to your question, It's actually my mom's car." I then sped away!

For the past year every once in a while on my way to work I would see this one guy driving and he'd pull up to me at stop lights to complement my car and tell me how awesome it looked. Today he pulled up next to me in a brand new BRZ and said I convinced him to buy one.

An old british guy came up to me and said he thought that this car is the best looking sports car out of all of them these days, asked how much it was. He was surprised these went for 25k, he was guessing something like $40k!

I have had loads of compliments on it. Normally at gas stations or people at a store looking.

The best I've ever had was, I was riding with the windows down and a cop pulled up next to me at a light, gave the one pointed finger wave and said nice car as the light went green.

A Mustang with a fairly loud exhaust today pulled up next to me at a traffic light. The guy just stares at me for a bit then revs. Light turns green. He stalls. I glance over and slowly cruise off with a big grin.

Had a guy in a blue 370z ask me to roll my window down at a red light. Said he loved the car, "my man that's a hott ride man" to be exact, he said he wanted one but decided against it because it wasn't awd. Meanwhile this guys in a 370..lol

Stopped at a red light. 60 year old dude in an 86 Corvette motions for me to roll down my window -

"What year is that??"
I tell him 2013.
"is that the redesign? Looks great! It doesn't really look as square in the back. Do you like this one more than the old one? Does it still drive well? It's incredible what they can do with 4 cylinders these days!"

No idea what he thought I was driving.
