Without a brake upgrade I'd run 16" lightweight wheels at 8 inch wide. Most likely RPF01 or something similar. I can run slightly smaller overall rotating diameter tires to get a free ratio increase this way too. 225 all around with high performance tires should be alot of fun.

Unless you want R comps you're going to find that impossible.

225/45/16 = no great street tires, but R comps and smaller diameter
225/50/16 = Great street tires but LARGER diameter.

Enkei makes good wheels.

The GTC01 in 17x8 is probably around a 18lb wheel for what it's worth. The 17x8 RPF01 is 15.6lbs IIRC. The GTC01 looks better IMO, but just in case you were mostly focused on weight I wanted to mention it.

Nah I doubt I'd track it. But lighter weight is great. For a total of 12lbs extra I dont think that's thaaat bad, but thanks anyways. I think I'm going the Enkei way. Any other brands like this? Cheap and reliable? I have Motegi so far under the list too.
