It's a bit sunny today so I cleared out the garage, warmed up the old beater and took it out. It's actually amazing, there's a black splotch on the windshield where I can see clearly now instead of a blanket of grey reflection!!!! 10000/10 do it!!!!


Sound deadening and back seat delete review-

The car feels so much more solid over bumps and in general. Solid meaning it's just...quieter. I don't hear grains of sand washing the wheel wells, I don't hear tire noise as much. The exhaust drone isn't much quieter but it's far less resonant- I don't have a way of explaining other than you HEAR it but don't FEEL it. So so happy

I would LOVE to have the back seat delete but the price people want for that is just way too much. I have my car set up for track/Time Attack/autocross and I have a roll bar so the back seats are just there to cover the noise.

Yeah it was a hard pill to swallow but I really wanted it :'( the bad thing about it is that my tuner used to sit in the back seat since my passenger seat is out. Now he's got nothing unless I put the passenger seat back in.

I made my own out of a cargo net, steel U bracket, and signboard. Had to go back to stock for AX classing, plus it was real loud.

Anyways, I wanted to introduce the new car. 2000 323i touring.
Has a lot of little things I need to fix, thankfully rust, subframe, and gm5 are none of them!!! Previous owner did a lot of work on this car to revive it and keep it in good standing.
Too bad that the interior was basically left to the wolves... But that can be fixed/replaced

Took the day off and drove the car about 150 miles today for no reason. There truly isn't a better car in the world, I'm smitten.

Bought some new wheels and an MAPerformance catback.
Wheels are the Kansei KNP. I've always wanted them and someone bought my Apex wheels (super badass dude who also had a blue 1st gen).

The exhaust has apparently been completely redesigned since it was originally released, I'm excited to hear it and be back to dual tip

Mod bug biting hard this year.
Helping my brother buy his first sports car in almost 20 years. We're checking stuff out in marketplace and it's really just made me realize I've neglected how my car looks a bit much... on the inside and outside.
So...
I bought some new 2019 GT86 door cards with the red accents.
Wannabe Valenti black edition taillights (I've read that the knockoffs are identical aside missing the embossing on the lens)
I'll install the new headlights soon
some misc carbon fiber pieces for the interior

I think that's about it. So the list of things I need to installlllll is getting really lonnnggggggggggg

Did a little carbon fiber stuff and got a new SA2025 helmet!!

Added a little Kilmat to the doors and did my favorite anti rattle treatment to the door cards.
