I got the idea of making a cup holder that mounts to the rail mount. I used a boat cup holder and made a mount for it. It will hold large cups. the drawback is you can't move the passenger seat forward with it installed but it comes off in a matter of minutes, and I need to drop it down a bit because it touches the passengers leg. otherwise It works great.

Where could I find a new front grill and the two apertures on the sides? I would like to modify them with some honeycomb mesh instead of the stock fins. Depending on their price, I would like to keep the original ones as backup.

I just bought one, saw it on the new Toyota86 special Edition Orange. it has the 86 logo embossed on the leather like material and the plastic back says "SUBARU" $200. I am putting in a Kenwood DNX893S (Apple Play, Garmin Navigation) and will know next week if this is going to work out. I also have a 2016 BRZ two piece radio panel if the one piece does not work, but my installer is capable of modification and real leather wrapping and stitching If the one panel works I will re-wrap it. I hate the Trapezoidal OEM BRZ radio in my new 2017 Yellow Edition. Crutchfield sold me everything I needed for the rear camera hookup, using the steering wheel controls, Sirus XM, Blue Tooth using the car microphone and all the things missing from my OEM unit. As soon as it is installed I will post pictures. If you are in Central Florida, my installer is an EXPERT Installer and has the Kenwood DNS893S in his own car and has is the best body shop and repair around

i've been scouring the thread for a while now.. it looks like people are successfully installing the 2017 1-piece trim on older models.

My only question is
1. Will this fit a 2015 OEM head unit without modifying it? It seems that everyone is installing these on older model cars, but they also have after market head units.

I think the 2014 & 2015 had the same head units, correct me if in wrong. If so, it should fit perfectly as I have a 2014 with a stock head unit and the 2017 1 piece just fit right in.

It fits as long as it isn't the trapezoidal headunit piece. That was why the thread was formed, as the Canadian market cars have the old radio style with the one piece dash. I actually haven't seen one of these installed with an aftermarket unit except the few pictures in this thread.

Very Nice, I got a two piece 2016 BRZ plastic one (on EBAY for $50) and having the two pieces primed and painted my car yellow.. Subaru does not sell the mud flaps that I had on my 2013 Limited and wants to sell the STI ones for $300.. You can get the 2017 Toyota86 mud flaps for $60 I got a set and having the painted yellow like my dash covers. I still have the Toyota 86 one piece if anyone wants it.

I hope you bought one from the regular 86, because the 860 has orange stitching instead of black.

Once you get that installed can you confirm everything works? Backup camera, steering wheel buttons, etc?
