Last shoot with these wheels before they get sold. My new setup is on the couch waiting for me to throw them on.

New to this aggressive wheel deal, what size tires are people running on a 17x8.5 +24 effective front and 17x9 +19 effective rear? Id like a bit of a meatier tire, and wont be too low, probably only end up an inch to an inch and a half lower than stock height. Suggestions?

Most of the guys here are running stretched tires so i am guessing that is something you want to steer clear of?. i would say run a 245 to 255 on those wheels for some meat.

so you suggested 255 on an 8.5? He said meaty not overkill. 255 is probably close to the widest you could even fit on an 8.5 inch wide rim

8.5 front, 9 rear. I know a 255 will work on a 9, but im worried about the offset and running a tire that size, if its even do-able?

I can be completely wrong so someone please correct me if I am but I think 255 is doable on 8.5 but ya gotta stick to a 30 or a 35 sidewall height....
