Now you just need a Roomba to be the one to discover said turds...

The foot well is roomier than one in an old Z.

I can't drive a miata. no fit.

ND is the first Miata I even have room for my elbows lol! But I've never met anyone with a NC so maybe that might work as well. I swear the early Miatas were made for mice like that old Yokohama commercial.

Even those expensive driving moccasins they sell at high end department stores are too wide for the pedals in small sports cars.

But why you need driving shoes, they are only needed for stick shift imo. Barefoot runners have midsoles that conform to the curved profile of your foot, and I don't find them that great for heel and toe on the gas pedal. You want a shoe that's more square on the side and flat on the bottom with a cupped heel, and stupidly thin sole for that good pedal feel.

BTW my driving shoes are Asics Vespers (drift king approved), this coming from a Nike OG sneaker head who's picking up Jordan 1s today.
Guess its back to shoe shopping for me! Leaving the air max for dedicated workout time then. My old running shoes were great because of the thin sole, should've listened to my buddy who owned air max 2015's.

Need to find a shoe that's more square on the side, as you mentioned. I wear size 12 but never found a pair that fit just right width wise.

I like my Puma drift cat 5s for driving. I even have 2 different pairs...
If you keep an eye on Amazon, they get down to like $30-40 every once in a while.
I wear a size 11.5-12 in most other shoes and these fit really good at a 12. If you have wide feet, you'll probably have a bad time.

I'm really flat footed I would have to try any shoe I buy in-store first.
