The problem with some corporations is that even this so-called "IT department" is overly compartmentalized, not to mention the team that manages e-mail could have been outsourced to a 3rd party company lol! All these teams are most probably "leaned" out so nothing gets done.

In the end, the best thing is to "remind" the sender to use bcc next time. If you really want to get their attention you can always spoof the CEO's email to send it. Ugmmm...not that I would ever do that.

I wish I could take a screenshot of my email... People are still replying to it... And some guy threw in a "most interesting man" meme.

It could go on for weeks, or months, and at some point someone who is cleaning out their email a year for now will see it and respond. Dead forum threads are not the only things that get revived suddenly.

LOL back then everytime we saw an email to the entire ship coming into the inbox my colleagues would dare one of us to hit a reply all. But then cuz we were part of IT our manager would be in so much shit afterwards.

Not here. We are owned by a German company. Anybody that sends something out like that just disappears and we never hear from them again. The email goes away even faster than the sender does though.

lmao!
autotragic Alternate name for an automatic transmission. The substitution of "tragic" conveys the pointlessness, wastefulness, and ultimately, futility, of aforesaid transmission. Users are doomed to a sad life of dullness and monotony; they posses no goal other than to get from point A to point B using the minimum of brainpower. There is no joy in their lives. A tragedy for our times. The red Subaru WRX looked hot, until i realized it was an autotragic. I went home and cursed an uncaring god who has clearly forsaken us. |
