I think that they wanted to hear other peoples prices so they can compete directly with them. Like a "lemme see the cards in your hand, lemme think, *plays perfect card*, wins game" type thing

If we get pricing for the BRZ, we'll certainly know the price of an FRS.

Nice drift machine, the rims are hot

But I'm missing the curb weight for the FR-S
I really don't understand Scion's information politics...but at least there is some information - in EU we got not infos at all until now. But maybe it's because the car won't be sold until autumn 2012...

Currently the 2012 rulebook hasnt been released, and the 2011 rulebook doesn't restrict engine swaps.

so whichever the reason why those cars count use those engines in their drift cars anymore..its not because of engine rules.

Unless I'm running a swirl pot with a fuel return setup, I don't really care about any advertised weight that isn't with a full tank of gas.

This reminds me a lot of waiting for GT5 to come out. You keep waiting for the big announcement only to be jerked around some more, and when it finally comes out you get something that already feels outdated. I have a feeling spring 2012 will come and go with no 86's to be found.

Yeah I totally get you on this.

We've all been interested this car from the get-go, they've shown us 3 concepts, nurburgring test footage, aerokits, the production models have been revealed on all 3 fronts, they've revealed the specs on it, and yet they still refuse to tell us the price. instead we get the beyond ovious announcement that the FR-Swill appear in Formula D.

most people will say, "be thankful they showed up at all" I am but for me I would like to know as soon as possible so I can adjust my budget for when the car becomes available.

the fact that they're waiting this long to reveal the price is starting to scare me because it pointing to the dreaded "over 25k" limit

why must they keep the one piece of info that matters the most from us?
