First one is always the worse, but hey, at least that's over and done with. Now you can just enjoy the car

Just got my car back from Capitol Toyota last night, took it in for the cricket noises; 1150 miles on the odometer. The service reps there are aware of the problem, mentioned to expect a recall soon. Hassle-free surprisingly from that dealership, I was in and out within a couple of days.

The cricket fix is beating the shit out of your car with lots of high RPM launches. Fixed my crickets anyway.

Yup, I can no longer hear the chirping after idle. Usually the noise would kick in after the car is warmed up. No noises (for now)!

Not sure if you guys follow the other cars section, but saw this and had to share. Just look at the damn torque chart. Just insane. And 3,300 lbs? Holy crap.

Good news: finally got my #2 coil replaced and car is running good!

Good news: I got warranty coverage this time!!

Bad news: they also replaced the #2 plug and had I known they were gonna lift the motor to get the plugs I would have paid to get the others changed!!! I'm over 40k miles! Actually 41 some now.

Got my set from Amazon (w/ 2-day shipping from Prime). Haven't installed them yet since folks who have them seem to think they don't really work
