You are looking at it the wrong way. Ignore the torque dip and enjoy the torque kick at 5k

People say they don't notice it but if you drive the car for a decent period of time you'll notice it, it's the period where the engine just keeps getting louder and you really aren't accelerating as fast as anywhere else in the rev range. Almost like a slight bog down between 3000 and 5000 rpm

The throttle delay is the thing that bugs me. It's okay at higher rpm, but after two weeks it still feels quite clumsy to drive around town.
Not being able to switch it on and off with a key. The torque dip is just weird. |

The nightmares I get from it. I had a nightmare where my car literally stalled on me and then started making a rod knocking noise, and finally, started smoking from the engine bay.

You dream about mechanical failure, I'll occasionally have nightmares that I lose control of the car for no reason and fly into some water or roll, although I don't think its related to the car.

Is that the low buzzing rattle that sounds like it's coming from behind the air vents on the center console?

I do not miss the key now. Press and hold the brake and THEN just "touch" the button but do not keep the button pressed. Keep the brake pushed until it starts. It may even start then stop but as long as you keep the brake pressed it keeps starting. It took me ages to get the hang.

I would like it if the seat belt height was adjustable. I'm on the short side and it comes right across my neck, my wife is shorter and the passenger seat isn't height adjustable so she actually has to hold it down to keep it from rubbing her chin. I guess I'll take it to an upholsterer to have the loop moved lower to hold it down so it's in a more comfortable position that will also be more effective if I ever need it to be because it seems to me that it would be dangerous in an accident if it's across my neck. I'm guessing they designed it around a driver approximately 5'10" and I'm a few inches shy of that.
