I will be adding full bolt ons in the next month or so and will have to switch over from the carb tune. Any help would be appreciated.
DBW performance is local and highly recommended by everyone who is running FI around Atlanta, I'd suggested joining the 86Atlanta group on facebook and making a post to get more info or running a quick google search.

Lots of great tuners local to Atlanta

I wonder if they are still backed up because of EcuTek and the oilcoolers. I just order the supercharger and a carb tune. Already have everything else. Just me wishing for a shorter time frame than the guys who ordered everything else. Secretly hiding my 5 year old on Christmas eve type of anticipation.

@ CSG Mike, If I kept everything stock (except for the JRSC) do you think the gains of a Delicious Flash & Go Tune is worth losing the CARB tune?
No. If that CARB sticker keeps you out of trouble once, its already paid for itself, 6 times over.

Curious, is the CARB sticker typically carried in your glove box or 'stickered' into the engine bay some where?

Bottom side of the hood is the most common.

Technically, couldn't I ( I mean someone) keep the sticker under the hood and flash back to the CARB tune fairly easily if I (I mean they) ran into trouble?
I'm also thinking about getting the Flex Fuel kit since I'm moving 10 minutes away from an E85 station.

Yes you can flash it back easily.

The problem is, if you already ran into trouble, it's already too late. I'd recommend you look into what happens if you get a ref ticket. It's a MAJOR hassle, and will cost you a lot of time, if not a lot of money.

The hope is for that sticker to keep you out of trouble.

That's what a lot of people will do for track days, yes.

E85 is magical, I'd highly recommend it if possible. There's no stations within an hour of me, though...

When I got pulled over, the cop just took the CARB number on the sticker and looked it up, then let me go. I'm not running the CARB tune. My tuner told me I should even be able to get the car smogged on his tune (with all cats of course) and it'll pass. I haven't tested it yet since I'm still a few years away from a smog check.

Like what Mike said, just dont get ref'd lol

Just found out my brother went through that with his old RX-7. Definitely a major pain. He's selling it now.

I'm talking all this jive about E85 and haven't even driven the CARB tune yet. I might be content with it, but I am sure I'll want more. I've been researching E85 but still have a zillion questions. People aren't running 100% E85. What would be a good mix of 91 and E85 to get that magical ride?

That is what I was hoping would happen to me too if I ever get pulled over. My concern is if I add a bunch of mods (or even just flex fuel) will it be a pain to pass smog when the time is due.

The reversal is simple. The Flex Fuel kit and bolt-ons can be easily removed without any irreversible effect. Just put on the original header, front pipe, and take off the FF kit, then flash in the CARB tune. You'll be golden.
