I just bought some new rims that are 9' wide and +35 so a big brake kit could be in my future!! My very distant future...
Will do! I'm hoping to get them on Sunday. I'm between the stop tech rotors and brembo rotors. I think ill be fine on the stock rotors for now.

All the advice I've gotten has been to stick with stock rotors unless you're tracking the car. The stock quad piston rotors are supposedly more than sufficient, especially since the car's so lightweight. That RB600 and better pads should do you good.
But it sounds like you're like me-curious...
I found this info pretty helpful since I was considering buying the Willwood 4R front set:
http://ft86speedfactory.com/blog/wil...it-scion-fr-s/
I believe those APs are what Picasso is running on his track FRS.
Don't know much about the Brembos except $$$$$

Yeah i'm fairly curious haha i love having my stopping power. Yeah that advice is why i didn't buy rotors but if i were it'd just be stock replacements for some slotted rotors much like the stoptechs you've got. I figure the goodies i just got will keep me more than a happy camper and like Tim did im thinking of custom fabbing a master cylinder brace with a buddy of mine!

Ah my bad I thought you were talking about replacing calipers. I read that wrong. I think the pads, fluid and brake lines will make the big difference. Slotted rotors, not so much unless you go larger and wider - bbk. Good luck with it!

Haha no worries! They should make a dramatic difference.. still doing research on slotted rotors as far as benefits go.

I just installed the Perrin master cylinder brace. It looks pimp! I got a Greddy radiator cap going on after the engine cools down. The only thing left to do in the engine bay is...header and Grimmspeed strut tower bar...

Nice. Perrin master cylinder brace is excellent. Dont know about you, but my big ass hands had a tough time getting those bolts back in place. Did find a noticeable difference with braking though, mainly with high speeds and near the end point...less feel of flex.

Congrats.

what i did this weekend

mod #2: clear bumper lenses!! Taking it slow

Bought the $70 pair off ebay and they worked GREAT. Was a pain in the butt to get the old ones out, but the new ones fit perfectly. No sanding necessary.

Also, I would definitely recommend changing the bulbs out. I didn't do this because I thought the stock bulbs were clear and I wanted a white light. Well, the stock bulbs *are* clear but the light is yellowish-amber anyway. I should have replaced them with white LEDs or something... but oh well. I'll probably wait for the bulbs to burn out before I try to take them out again because it was a total pain.

Happy with the results, though! Pics!

You done good!!! That is a good price, too. Those look just like the factory OEM housings. Wonder what mod #3 is gonna be???
