Drove by a WRB BRZ today driving east on Riggs. Pulled up next to him and he just looked and nodded and i thumbs upped him. Still had paper tags so i wonder if he's on here.

That was me.

BTW, your car looks great! I saw you as I turned on to rigs at Arizona. I kept the speed down so you could catch up.

Woohoo! Looks like I'll be at LM on Friday morning to fab up my exhaust bits, though I'm doing a mid-pipe sans resonator. I'm going to make the mid-pipe its own project on LM's Forge so I can upload the dimensions so other people can fab up their own to match up to the OEM axleback section. Links will be posted here so you can all look at it and either take the dimensions to an exhaust shop or maybe LM to have one fabbed up.

Does anyone know how the midpipe connects to the cat-pipe? Like is it a slip-joint or a flange like the rear connection to the axleback?

Edit: Looks like the overpipe has an easy flange that will either get rebuilt or cut and welded to the new midpipe, so I'll lose the last factory cat and the resonator. Should be a single piece from headers to axleback (replacing the overpipe and midpipe). Doesn't LOOK like theres an O2 sensor anywhere in that section, so it should be pretty straight forward. I'll throw it on the lift tomorrow morning after work and get a bunch of "before" pictures for reference.

Who would be up for doing a group flash day at Local Motors the next time we go out? Im trying to get a sub $200 deal for a single tune if we do a group buy. You can do a stage 1, stage 2 or E85.

I'm game, but without a way to flash back if there's an issue, I'm not 100% in love with the idea. I'd love a stage 1 flash though. Who's tune would this be?

Fa20club. I know there are at least three cables in the state with forum members. You would want a stage 2 since you have exhaust (not sure if you have an intake). Link in my signature of what they offer.

No intake yet. Not sure if I'm going to bother with one yet, might make my own some other time at LM sometime, because I hate that all the current ones for sale boil down to a filter on a stick and cost $300+, which is ridiculous.

I'd be down, but I would have to buy a cable for myself

With the gains everyone's getting from the intakes, a silicone replacement and maybe a throttlebody spacer would work for me.

Autox at Marana Airport next Sunday. It is a big lot that allows long runs and higher speeds (I've had to shift to third on some occasions). It has a really good surface. Depending on course design, runs can be between about 45 seconds (typically summer courses) to 70 seconds (winter courses).

Marana is an 1 1/2 hours south of Mesa on the I-10. The exit is W. Avra Valley Road and the airport is few miles west of the exit. The entrance to the site is marked by some downed orange traffic cones. The entrance is through a gate in a chained link fence and it is a short gravel road.
If anybody is coming from Phoenix, I could lead a caravan from the gas station near LM.

Schedule for this event:

Gates Open: 7:00am
Registration & Tech Open: 7:45am
Registration Close: 8:30am
Tech Close: 8:45am
Novice Course Walk: approximately 8:45am
Mandatory Driver's Meeting: 9:00am

Please ensure you read the Marana Regional Airport Supplemental Regulations. These are important guidelines for events at this specific site and failure to comply with will result in you being asked to leave the event.
