In one year I have seen 3 FRS commercials (all the same one), 0 BRZ commercials and heard about neither on the radio.
Today alone I have seen 3 different iM commercials (two of them twice for a total of 5) and heard 4 commercials on the radio.
Any bets on which car Scion makes more money on?

I think my automatic FR-S knows how to lie about which gear it's in while in manual mode. If I step on the pedal hard enough in 6th the revs will shoot up like I downshifted, even if I don't. It will say it's still in 6th, but I swear that's 5th.

It's shit like this which pisses me off about Scion. I have never seen an FRS commercial, except for ones linked here via Youtube. And even then, they are horrid commercials.

They have an awesome car, get the word out there. Yes, I know the car does not appeal to the masses for various reasons mentioned in the Sales Number thread, blah blah blah....

I've been driving in manual mode more than auto ever since installing the new exhaust. Tried this a few times and nothing happens like what you described. It just very slowly starts climbing...

I've been meaning to try and capture it lying for a while now. Maybe I'll get a video somehow sometime this week.

I was thinking. ever notice how in almost all movies/tv that aliens are basically our size. maybe a little bigger/smaller but more or less pretty proportional. yet when you look at out planet compared to others or other stars compared to ours it's pretty puny if not totally insignifigant. so wouldn't it stand to reason that if there are aliens(not getting into that debate) out there that they would be giants compared to us?

While completely possible that there is life much larger than us, I'd say that it's much more likely that the universe is teeming with much smaller life forms. Micro-animals like the Tardigrade can survive in every single type of hostile environment without so much as batting an eye.

Those little fuckers can withstand anything. From almost absolute zero to magma temperatures, 6x the deepest ocean pressures to the vacuum of space, they will survive for something like 10 years without food or water, they even blasted the lil guys with so much radiation it would instantly kill even a cockroach and through all that the little water bear kept trucking.
