Thanks guys. I ask because the Prime is more bang for the buck, and faster in every way, but I hear it has WiFi problems. The iPad is amazing and silky smooth, and well, it has Apple reliability alongside its amazing 3rd party vendors for accessories.

Only thing is price vs price... Lets see

One thing to note is if you want to get a cheap ELM 327 OBDII reader and an App with your phone or tablet, iOS devices (iPad/iPhone/iPod) are no go. They do not work with the Bluetooth protocol used on this reader, and no cheap app can be found for this solution.

That cheap device works with Android and Windows OS.

I have an iPhone, have access with iPad2, found OK with iPad3 and now checking out the TF300 transformer for better deal. Should I want to spend another $100 bucks with a better screen but could potentially burn my hand while using it???
