Left hand driver radio Fascia Middle
# SU00301910
$ 21.17

Right Hand Side Piece Fascia
# SU00301932
$ 31.13
What are these two pieces referring to? I would like to replace the radio surround and the design that goes to the passenger area on the dash, if that's what those are referring to.

Also bump for updated pics! I'm hoping to order these pieces pretty soon here. Gonna order the red GT-86 to go with these parts.

Those are the correct parts for the radio/dash trim. I have a picture of them installed a page or so back

I see your picture show left and right center console pieces that surround the knobs and stop just underneath the radio. I was seeing if there were replacement for the radio surround and passenger side design. Even in your pic it's still the stock "T"/"Space Invaders" design. In the BRZ they're silver.

Also, is the "knee attachment" that leather pad with the red stitching? No way that costs that little if that is it!

Edit: Nevermind! It's a few posts down. I meant to ask you if that's what that was because the camera makes it look like it could be silver, for some reason. Thanks! I feel derpy. haha Contrasting with your paddle shifters, they're definitely matte black.

lol yea i replaced all the silver trim and the space invaders with the matte black parts. The knee pads with the red stitching i got from @nigel-jdmparts. Those were a bit more expensive but make it look much better.

Yeah, I just ordered those, too. Should be here any day now, along with the speaker surround. I guess I'm wondering what the "knee attachments" are then?

They don't actually verify the vin. You can just put whatever there or pull one off a dealers inventory site. I put my vin and gt2000 as the model. They dont seem to care what you put. I think it's more so if you're asking for a part number that you're unsure of.

I just ordered the black switches from Amayama.
No VIN needed. I put for the info.
Year - 2013
Make - Toyota
Car - Scion
Vin - FR-S
They e-mailed my with the instuctions for purchase, price, and shipping info. No questions asked.
I'm going to paint the rest of the parts, my dash inserts came out great. It was the first mod I made after I bought it. I don't know why I waited so long to order the switches.

I have a question though. How hard and how do you get the piece off of the steering wheel?

Your answer below.

I've done it a good few times whilst I was vinyl wrapping that piece of trim. I didn't even bother disconnecting the battery.
I sure it's been mentioned but it's only a case of pushing on three spring clips at 3,6 & 9 o'clock behind the airbag, it springs off, undo two Phillips head screws, remove piece.
Replacing is reversal of the above.

I just did it again at the weekend as I sent my pieces off for CF skinning, airbag didn't deploy again.
What you must remember is that the airbag is designed to deploy when you car is in motion and involved in a frontal impact. Now that doesn't discount a malfunction or electrical short setting it off, but it's not the big bad scary monster that most people think it is. If your car is stationary, the ignition is off and you don't start shorting out wires your chance of setting it off is minimal. If you are too scared though, remove the negative terminal off the battery, flash your high beams a couple of times to ensure any residual energy is depleted from the electrical system and then remove it.
