I'd rather have a Kia, Hyundai, Chevy, or Toyota gas getter. They are front wheel drive because it's efficient and cheap. They know their place in the world. And that's getting groceries, getting great gas mileage, lugging a family around, and being reliable.

Take the new Camry for example. It looks like a sleek family car but nobody in their right mind would ever think to put on upgrades like intake and exhaust, and stupid DIY ricer mods #becauseracecar style. Many people with tC's think they all of a sudden has a race car and it pisses me off. Same goes with Mustang and Camaro drivers, especially of the V6 genre.

/endrant lol
there are fwd cars that will destroy the frs just so you are aware.

there is just as large a percentage of frs drivers that think they have a race car too which is even worse since it is slower than the mustang and camaro, even the v6 genre.

Can you name a stock FWD car, with the relevant data, that will "Destroy" the FRS? I'm so quivering in my boots!

Just so I'm aware? lol, the FR-S barely has 200hp, if that. I would expect plenty of cars in any drivetrain situation to beat it.

do you believe the frs perfroms terribly? because you say that fwd cars perform terribly and agree that they perform better than the frs. its just odd that you make comments that seem to place you in the category cars/drivers that you are criticizing.

Key word is relevant data, and the Megane RS is not sold here. And you don't own an FRS? I don't understand in your above statement what you are attempting to convey.

I set out to answer this with a new dodge dart and a cobalt ss the cobalt, was clearly faster in a strait line the FR-S beat the dodge we also did autocross we had about 8 brz/FR-S in the mix this was their first time doing autocross for the dart and the cobalt and they were definitely not the slowest on the course. A lot of the FR-S/brz beat them but not by much most within a second and they all have autocross experience and know the course because we use the same one every time. I feel that fwd cars are not as horrible as most make them out to be and those guys will be running the same times as the rest very soon.

its cool how when people talk trash on fwd there doesnt need to be any relevant data but when i say that there are fwd cars that are faster than the frs, i have to prove it. go look up the lightning lap times. the brz took 3:18 to complete a lap compared to 3:13 for the cobalt. the point is that calling the fwd sports car segment terrible performers when you bought a worse performer is kind of an odd thing to do.

I never said the FR-S performs terribly. The vast majority of FWD cars underperform with a few notable exceptions such as the Cobalt SS/SC and SS/TC, and Mazdaspeed 3, among others.

well its probably better not to say that sporty fwd cars "perform extremely terribly" when that is neither true or what you mean.
