So I'm at work this morning and a service advisor comes up to me and says "Hey! Great news! Your parts are here. Time to get your fuel pump replaced!" I got a little excited and decided to throw and oil change with it. Half an hour later he calls me and says, "About your parts, 3/5 are here. The important two, the pump and the hose are not here."

Oh, I'll just have to wait over a month for them I guess.

I had some trouble with cold starts up until I got my last update from visconti. Ecutek tunes seems to cure a lot of this car's problems.

My Miata has trouble with cold starts as well. I did some research, and the recommended practice is to start the car and allow it about 20-30 seconds to get the oil circulating, and then go. They say that it is better for modern engines to warm up while operating rather than at idle like on older cars.

That being said, you still want to keep the revs down for about a mile or two just to make sure the oil is thoroughly working its way around, as many cars use oil pressure for VVT so it needs to be stable.

Of course if you start your car and let it idle while you clean the snow off that is still fine too, well assuming we ever get snow here again. WTB snow for skiing!

My team needs players who don't suck. Baltimore is a bit of a drive for you though....

I am so desperate to get back out there after tearing my ACL this June. I became the manager which is a lot more stressful than actually playing. I spent most of the time just screaming at the refs.

Does anyone know of any local shops that blackout headlight and taillight housings? Im afraid to take apart the lights myself and I don't feel like sending my lights to California to have it done.

The dude FRS in MD can do them when he's not busy if I remember right. He's already done it to his car, I'm sure he's got a journal around.
