We all carry crates of tofu. You should drop the lettuce for tofu. Much better.

One thing that is important to remember is while we have seen ps of the camo removed on here, the fact remains there could very well be quite a bit of styling going on underneath the camo that is hidden by the foam + camo. While some lines can still be visible, other more subtle lines can be missing from our view due to the method of applying the foam underneath all that wallpaper.

Yeah, like some foam covering a rounded hood and indented stripe? I hope so!

It would be almost impossible to tell from a picture what is underneath the foam but it is possible. Will just have to wait and see.

I do too. I prefer lift back easier to get big things out of the car, especially when your 6'2". The RX8 is a wonderful car to take to the racetrack, hauling tires and EQ because of the trunk space and rear suicide doors allow for easy access.

Config 1:
Liftback, aluminum race jack(rear floor), race ramps on top of jack), tool box(next to race ramps on top of folded down seats) along with a set of hoosier wrapped wheels(free space behind the front seats).
Config 2:
If coupe 1 wheel in trunk along with tool box and jack, 1 wheel in front seat and 2 wheels in the back seats, race ramps behind front seats between wheels.

The more i look at this car vs the cleaner swirly mule, i can't help but compare them to this.

The differences between the Corolla and the Corolla S. I can definately see that as being the difference between the two of these mules, and i think the are both being tested by toyota also.

My hunch is that they will release the base as this one...

and it will have the base motor, no lsd, and basic interior. i'd venture a guess at 21k
Then we will have this one as the S version

and it will have the lsd and a potential turbo if i get my way, plus other nice fancy things, i'd peg it to start at about 26k

just my 2cents

EDIT: I'd even go as far as to say you could translate it to a subaru 2000rs and 2000rs wrx (if we are going with that name)

Nice job cb7! :happy0180:

Though I never liked the "shopping cart" wings, I have to admit that seeing this car lowered and with Works, I could get used to it!

There goes the suspension geometry.. add bumpsteer kit, with camber/caster plates, rear adjustable links, and Eastwood roller for fenders.

I dunno why you'd want to dump it--that kills the suspension travel and will probably make your car handle worse (unless you're rolling on Motons)

They offer added accessories, aesthetics and performance upgrades. BUT this could be a first if they get greedy.

Then we will have this one as the S version and it will have the lsd and a potential turbo if i get my way, plus other nice fancy things, i'd peg it to start at about 26k -- That would be the Subaru model. Which should have better interior(alcantara), brakes(bigger pistons but since 2 piston unfortunately), wheels(18s), aero and turbo of course.
No point in both brands having turbo platforms. It's a no brainer, the cheapest one with the turbo will always outsell, because then you can upgrade the parts you want that will surpass the Subaru for less. Subaru's version sales would not do to well either, unless their model came with Brembos and Sti goodies.

Both are FB20s, both have 6spd, at this point the only possible things separating the two is turbo, aero and interior design queues.

I still stress the Scion should come with 18s standard since the TC does, and the car can better utilize 18s than the TC could as well. Besides I have an extra set of 255/35/18 Hoosier r6s to put on for auto-x Stock class. I can then buy 18x9.5" RPF-1 in SBC and swap the stock tires on them.

That's the main reason why you want this car to have 18's. Nothing more

Or Koni single or double adjustables with custom valving, ASTs, Bilsteins etc.

You don't really need remote reservoirs.
