It was deff not melted...
What i end up doing was remove the sleeve and just clamp it

I would put the sleeve back on and make sure you get both lines are not making any contact with the turbo. The only way the sleeve or safety wire could have cut the hose is if there was some rubbing or movement of the hose.

I don't regret it one bit !!! I do strongly recommend cooling upgrades regardless of which kit you choose

+1 on cooling. What's your experience been? Usable AC?

FullBlown is adding the radiator+oil cooler on mine, hope that lets me use AC again!

I can use my ac longer at a stand still and it cooled off way quicker once moving, this was at 105 degree ambient temps though. I believe that the engine bay is just too small and venting is my next mod.

How long before AC starts blowing warm while stopped at those temps?

I doubt I'll see triple digit temps where I'm at... But it would be nice to see how well larger fans would work.

Larger fans are on the menu as well. Prolly 10min before it started to get hot.

Are you on the gt28 ?

As winter comes closer ( socals winter). I feel like I can delay my cooling purchase , or what do you think?

I'm hopefully going to jump on a gtx30, 1000cc injs and a clutch. Any other recommendations?

What about that slotted vented hood thats out... is that a functional hood? I'd think with a small drain water could dump out of the bottom of engine bay while air could move in while driving. Not saying thats the only route to go, but some of those slotted vented hoods look good.
