but if mazda doesnt get their arse in to gear and finish with the 16x and make the next itteration (hopefully turboed with 2 doors this time) i will DEFIANTLY be getting the 86 (right now its 95% yes, pending what mazda do)

It has potential, but I still need engine specs, weight/chasis specs. Guess we are right back where we keep starting. Nice "concept" though...

If you stuck the two concepts side by side, I would be the one to think the FT-86 II was the concept and the FT-86 (first version) was the production model. Exterior wise I mean. The II looks more radical of a concept than the first one.

You missed my edit above your post, but I have a different opinion on the RX8....lol. I just hope the 86 has more going for it than the RX8. I am not much of a low torque-high reving guy.

I think a lip spoiler will do the rear more justice. IMO the one on it doesn't go with this car...

How much better does it look when its going sideways.... (^,^)

I didnt think i liked it much up until i seen that clip... I reckon this thing will

look much better when a company puts together a widening kit for this and u

can set it up with good offset... Will clean up some of the strong lines in the

arch flares atleast.. They have certainly killed the awesome looking tail lights & rear end..

I was sold on getting this in black but seeing it in white.... Well now im not so sure..

White with a carbon firbe bonnet and difusers, dumped, 25mm widening kit, and some Black 18inch Volks would be pure sex.....

Hachiroku get ready for this forum to EXPLODE in the coming months...

Well done bro.........

You obviously have no clue about really good daily drivability(passing punch, going up hills, and when you have more than one passenger). I drive a torqueless wonder so I know what's a dissapointing daily driver.

like it...We need to see it on more colors and we need to see the interior...Why come we don't engine specs yet?

This thing will need a turbo.

If it only has 200 HP NA...then it can't sell higher than a base genesis coupe.

How much you wanna bet it will be at or above the price of a base genesis coupe with a N/A 2.0l? Also by the time this drops the Gencoupe will be getting 40-50 more hp. This car is for the miata/civic Si crowd but I was hoping it would branch over into the territory of mid 20k sports coupes.

I actually think the tail lights are awesome! I also like the head lights, the aggressive front fender arch, the...WHOLE FREAKIN CAR! If it looks like this I will totally buy it!
