I doubt you'll find a manual that shows you all the steps in doing the work on your car. Back in '61 I bought a Helms genuine GM 1957 Chevrolet manual for my car for $4 new and was rudely surprised that it didn't walk me through the work on the car. As for Subaru techs, the ones in my area are trained in a building on the campus at Montgomery College in Rockville, MD. Their bldg is right next to the automotive training bldg of the college. The Subaru instructor back in 2002 worked part time at the college and ended up being my electricity teacher in the automotive program. I can still remember him teaching me how to use a soldering iron. Our tests were hard because we had a lot of Subaru schematics which go from left to right like the Toyota ones, but they're a bit more confusing.
