I don't play league much anymore but do play smite so I see what you are saying but keep this in mind. Smite: 6-7 game modes(5maps) plus one motd (also games can play out extremely differently based on team comp and opposing team) R6: 11 maps but only 2 game modes (siege and terrorist hunt, can't remember much more if there is any) Smite: over 70 gods to choose with several skins/voicepacks for each. Alternating builds will strongly change how one plays (assassin full dmg = straight assassin; some defence = team fight boxer), alternating team comp will change how you approach the game also R6: 8-10 classes avl per side not much variety inside those classes, cannot duplicate classes (if someone else grabs it first youre fucked) and some classes are lets say somewhat similar (shield toting classes). R6 game: Send drones, locate objective, blow door kill thing, win (What I mean is that there is no variety inside the actual games, they pretty much always play out the same at least from what I've experienced) Don't get me wrong, I like the direction they took with it (step in right direction) as I felt the Vegas series took out the tactical aspect of r6 as a tactical shooter and this (siege) put it back there. My problem is this game feels like half a game. You want to go all out multiplayer with no campaign? sure no problem just you know make sure there is enough damn content to keep people playing (more than 2 mode and 8 maps, I've seen games with MP as an afterthought with more modes and maps). This game will end up like evolve and Titanfall I think, great initial draw but lack of content deep down that will be unable to keep people playing. 2 months from now bet the player base will be in the shitter. I'm all for innovation but innovation does not mean cutting out 70% of a game, adding a new mechanic(breaching walls) and then call it a day. FFS the F2P ghost recon game as more depth than this game. (Also R6 used to be my favorite franchise if you must know, that is why I am so harsh on it) |

Regarding your repetitiveness comment, I somewhat agree with your assessment (why I don't play anymore sports games, assassin creed (syndicate excluded got it free with my gpu), COD) they just churn game after game with no new content, no innovation and just rape my wallet.
While I commend R6 devs for doing something somewhat newish, I can't help but feel the matches (inside the game) lack variance (not enough entry points, maps too small, limited game modes, limited interesting classes (like someone else said, 2-3 almost necessary classes and other 2 can be randomized with no effect). And still not tactical enough... Where is the pre-mission planning map with entry points, how about having different times of day (sunrise, sunset, day, night, snowstorm, etc.) to add challenge or force people to re-evaluate the way they enter the fortified building, how about a few maps with active weather(ala BF); how about maps with some underground/secret exits so the terrorists can backdoor the good guys; why are classes so limited. They have a good base but I feel they missed the mark on several things and left out too many things that could've made the game feel much more deep and varied (I know all games are repetitive but some do a much better job than others at making you forget about it (fallout 4; smite; war thunder). The smaller the maps, character pool and lack of varyiance in classes makes it feel much more repetitive to me than it should). That being said I still got entertained by it when playing but jst couldn't justify paying full price for it. Should anyone feel like getting me a Christmas present in the form of this game though I will gladly play the shit out of it until I am fully bored (2-3 months would be my guess) You may also want to keep in mind I game probably more than a whole lot of other gamers. During the week I get home from work and start gaming until 1am stopping for food and hygiene and annoying cats and that's pretty much all I'll do on a regular day if I work the next morning (so maybe 4-5 hrs a day of gaming). |

They gotta patch this game asap. Out of 10 games, about 8 are 4v5s. Rejoining is near impossible, and leavers get a slap on the wrist.
Getting a 5 on 5 with full mics is a god sent on the rare time it happens. But they are great games when they do happen. |

Definitely this. The game is really only fun when you have a full team talking. Feel free to add me on Xbone, I play with a group of about 12 people so we're always making one or two squads, sometimes we even play 4v4 or 5v5 custom matches for bragging rights.

Sighhhh... ah well such is life. For me at least my friends list has tripled in size just from this game alone. Seems to attract some pretty cool people that area easy to game with.

That being said, the LOL community is toxic you are right, that's why I hardly play it anymore. R6 siege on the other half seems to have a decent community. Not full of ragers like games like LOL and DOTA, but also not full of retarded 12 yr old donkey children like say Call of duty |

Ding Chavez disagrees with your statement, didn't enjoy the vegas campaigns much but again please refer to R6 Rogue spear and R6 3 Raven's shield for campaigns. I may eventually buy it on pc since my a-hole cousin keeps bothering me to play it (he's anm a-hole because I recently bought a gpu that came with eithe3r the new AC or the new R6. I asked around if anyone would buy R6 and they told me no so I got AC since I'd be playing alone, two weeks later the ahole bought R6 and is non stop on my ass so that I buy it too) :@ |

@Special_K the AI in Rogue Spear and Raven shield on PC were decent if on hardest difficulty, they couldn't shoot through walls(limitations back then) but they definitely did not just stand around waiting for you (they were fairly accurate), ok they did freak out sometimes but that's with any AI.
That being said, the R6 Siege AI is on point, they flank and bust through several entry points to a room at once on occasion |
