Before you go modifying anything, there are some options that can be turned on/off at the dealer. I'm a technician at a Toyota dealer. We can use our computer to plug in and turn a few things on/off. Can't give the full list now, its just a few things. Like headlights on buzzer, seatbelt buzzer, passenger seatbelt buzzer, doorlock control, boot release with remote...

When can u give full list?..... Certainly would like seatbelt buzzers switched off.... So long as its through program and not just pulling the sensor plug... As i know this effects airbag deployment..

Can we turn of the horn when we remotely lock/open the door?
It's very annoying now.

Our demo cars don't sound the horn either. I'll ask the PD guys tomorrow about switchable settings.

I'm crossing my fingers that the BRZ will have this, I have a really narrow pathway leading from the the driveway to the garage at the back of the house (picture the side of the house separated from the fence on the right side of the house by just enough space to allow a car to pass through ... nerve racking each time I drive out/in)

I saw a photo with mirrors folded in on one, which struck me as an odd thing to do when you want to photograph your car :P but makes sense having read this thread. So unless they delete it in Aus spec, which I'd doubt, I'd say it will have it.

I brought a car home but I forgot the owners manual. Will check first thing tomorrow morning. It can't be too hard... Hopefully.

My colt had folding mirrors. To get them to fold from the remote you pressed the button twice. One would lock the car and the second would fold the mirrors.

Thanks for checking it out. Would you have any idea how and can it be done by the dealer only?
