If this means anything to you, the M2 will probably drive like a slightly lighter, and more powerful m235. It also weighs similarly to the Genesis Coupe or 370Z, which means it's going to have a more muscly feel like those cars rather than the agile, lightweight feel the twins give.

I mean, if you didn't opt for one of those cars over the twins, why the M2?

Also, knowing BMW, since the m235 starts at almost 50 grand, a M2 with the color and features you'd probably want is most likely going to end up as ~65-70k. I was configuring an M4 on their website and it shot from ~75k -> 95k with barely anything extravagant.

I feel you on the "euro muscle car" thing. The M2 is contributing in a way to that genre. If we are in that arena you could also pick up, say... A used jag f type for around the same money give or take... Now there is a European muscle car... so why bother with an M2? It's all so hard and probably only solvable by saying, "To each his own?"
