The only car that needs a badge swap is the FRS.

LOL @ all the comments...

I have a BRZ in SWP... the red interior & orange clock (thanks toyota) makes the exterior and blue badge look... weird. Just dose not seem to blend well...

I thought the black badges would complement the car alot more then the blue.

Anyways... If anyone attempts (either by painting, or buying new badges) please post pics!

The reason Subaru uses a blue badge is due to the spectral-driven low emisivity of the particular color blue in the badge. That is to say, the badge will not act as a black-body radiator of infrared light onto the top center of the car's radiator. The star pattern on the Front of the badge is actually a special metal designed to reflect 60% more heat than a conventional plasti-chrome material choice.

Subaru put a lot of time in selecting materials, which helps facilitate the tight packaging requirements they have placed on the car. Why would you want to compromise it with a black badge, because it is all downhill from there.

Seems legit... But I'd like to see this in a chart...just for reference....

I'll swap my Subaru badge for a Scion badge. Then get "SCION" in large white letters for the top of the windshield.

The stars seem more protrude and centered together.

As for the badge, I don't think it will make much of a difference for those who have a darker color car, but I do like the idea of a black badge though.
