Yeah I quite enjoy the asthetics of both cars. I'm more likely to get a Toyota model over Subie though. Not because I don't like it, but i want a Toyota. Though things may change depending on timing, pricing, and options. Maybe when I'm able to make the purchase the Subie will be more "up my alley."

I prefer the look of Impreza concept better over the rendering.

The op's picture might be the concept. The body is different compared to the first concept, and the side mirrors look like more realistic. We'll have to wait until Geneva for the second concept, but I feel that this could be it.

Are you sure about that? Try compare both pics again.

The STI version reminds me of the Renault Alpine A110 rally car from the 1960s

i don't care much for the way that STi rendering looks.

it looks like they just mashed a bunch of current vehicles together. no thanks.

Hm... if they fix the headlight, make it a bit more aggressive fenders and do something bout that grill and Subie have themselves a buyer.

Really? You're comparing this

Hm... I can't see it. I like this more than that STI concept pic.

Well, I guess that you just got

Now, getting serious, I have to say that I'm sorry for disappointing you guys, I don't know if Best Car really got info or if they just bluffed, I know that they were pretty exact with the Nissan 370Z, they even made a mock up after the car before it was unveiled, using a 350Z as base. As for the disappointment feeling in situations like this, trust me, I know it, I have gone bananas when a friend sent me a rendering with the "Toyobaru", about two years ago, telling me that some German website said that it's the official sketch, the guy wasn't really into cars so I searched a few websites myself, just to find out that it was just a simple rendering. And I was even more disappointed because I actually like the rendering, a lot, this was that rendering.

true, it is just a rendering, but BC's renderings tend to get much more accurate the closer a car is to getting released. as aspike said their 370z rendering was very close (they got the shark fin theme before anyone else) and they also got the LFA front fascia very close to accurate before anyone knew it was gonna be revised.

edit: i actually like the orange rendering as well. but i do like the ft-86 design even more. hope i like the mark ii just as much.
