To answer your questions...

Thanks for the solid info! Sounds like yours just crapped out for sure! This will be my first Subie so unknown territory regarding their parts distribution system....especially for a new model. Hopefully, if they do have to order that 3BL assembly, you will get it quick. I've modded several of these 3BLs on other vehicles adding LED boards to replace incandescent bulbs. Like anything else, there are failure rates with LEDs even though claims are made they are suppose to last longer! For sure, let us know the outcome!

Actually, I have deposits on two BRZs, first one was on March 21st but, it won't be "allocated" until after November....or, if someone on that 10 car list backs out before me on the current allocation to the dealer (I'm #11 on the list). Yeah, right! MSRP Pre-order buyers are second rate if a dealer can sell to someone who ponys up with a market adjustment. Been there done that twice already but, not willing to shell out the $1500 or $3000 extra clams. So, will have to wait. Hey Subaru! Where's my 2 pre-ordered BRZs????

The dealership ordered a new upper portion of the 3rdBL, as suspected. They did know how to get the top apart from the bottom tho haha. Now we'll wait and see how long it takes for the parts to get in and hope nobody rear ends me!

The part came in and I had it replaced on the 31st of July. About 2 weeks waiting for the part, not bad... considering some people are still waiting on their cars

My is out too, don't know when until my wife told me one day, check the connector And wires are all intact. Will bring her back to dealer one day.

Just had this issue too. 2 lights completely don't work and the other two are super dim almost barely noticeable.

my light also went out. setting up an appointment with the dealer next tuesday. I'm going for the mustang overhead 3rd brake light mod anyway, but i still want a working OEM stock in reserve just in case i want to switch back.
