I have two pairs of adidas driving shoes however they are not made anymore. $60-80 a pop. You want a narrow shoe with a thin sole to feel the pedals.

I picked up a pair of New Balance Miniumus 20v4s. Around $100, light, thin sole.

I used to swear by my old addidas shoes as the best driving shoe. I did like the feel of a puma but felt they would always crack at the toe. well for the past year i've had to change my tune the moment i drove my car with these

thin enough sole for great feedback, just wide enough to make heel-toeing easier for me and if i need to get out and hoof it they're good for running in.

Hit and runs??? D:

In all seriousness, I'll take a look at these. From what I've been reading, anything like running/workout shoes are awesome for driving.

Pretty sure the Adidas HVC will be my next set of 'driving' shoes...I've yet to find anything better than wrestling shoes for use as inexpensive driving shoes - extremely lightweight unlike anything else except for dedicated track competition running shoes (the ones that you can screw grip spikes into), really grippy soles that allow for great movement being no bigger than necessary and engineered to do so, and a very supportive and breathable outer construction. $50 will get you this:
