another update.

finally got around to getting rear springs. after a lot of debate, i decided on getting AllPro rear leaf packs. https://www.allprooffroad.com/05taco...omaleafsprings

they showed up yesterday around noon, and i got to work.

new vs old. a bit of a difference.

here's how it sits now on stock sized tires.

next up is a new wheel bearing, new upper control arms, and then once my BFG all terrains FINALLY wear out, i'll step up to the 285s. enjoy!

I'd be tempted to get that rear bumper powder coated black. Looks good though!

Coming along nice! I often forget that there's still new vehicles out there that use leaf springs.

i didn't measure before and after (i know, i'm lame), but roughly 3 inches of lift. when i did the front suspension i also replaced the rear shocks with OME Nitrochargers, which helped significantly. without those, there's no way i could have driven on the old leafs for so long.

i'd like to get a replacement high-clearance rear bumper, so i probably won't mess around too much with the stock bumper. here's a link and a picture of the bumper i'm looking at: http://www.ttora.com/forum/showthrea...t=point+return

thanks! i have the opinion that any proper pickup truck should have a good set of leaf springs in the rear. these new ones ride REALLY nice, hold weight better, and give the truck a more solid feel. huuuuge improvement over stock.
