I'll add my 2 cents. For those of you in the rest of the good ole USA you're fortunate to be able to wheel n deal with Toyota/Scion dealerships. Here in Hawaii we only have one dealership which is not part of Toyota USA. Servco Hawaii is their own company which has the monopoly here in Hawaii. Any Toyota car that was bought on the mainland their warranty is not honored here at Servco. That goes the same for any car bought from Servco which is on the mainland, Toyota USA will not honor the warranty. Shitty but that's the way it goes over here. There is no haggling at all at Servco Scion. I paid the MSRP for my FRS and only got wheel locks and tint. As they say we pay the price for living in paradise. Hahaha!

Ya'll are lucky to be able to haggle pricing at Scion/Toyota dealerships on the mainland and in Canada.

Haggling price on a new FRS isn't even worth it. Dealerships barely make gross on them. This is coming from a Toyota Salesman (Me).

Are you sure? I wouldnt have bought an FRS in Hawaii but then again it's pointless to me having the FRS on a trackless island lol

Scca here has track meets. Geez, we may not have a race track anymore but that doesn't mean Hawaii people shouldn't buy a FRS. 😜

True but scca isn't the same thing as a hpde day. I guess I should of said modding cars in Hawaii.

Then again I did take my S2000 to Maui and loved the road to hana but you can't unleash it there

How they get you is with the port installed options. Not many premium(base model) brz's to choose from. Most are limited models with more features/random accessories- navigation, spoiler, fog lights, interior, chrome fender trim, clear trunk guard, rubber trunk mat, dimmable interior rear view mirror, wheel locks, keyless entry, etc= +2k+

A couple dealers pretty much told me that they make the money off optional parts.

Zero option brz premium is very rare and I would say it doesn't exist unless you ordered it.

There's quite a few in my area. But you're right, it's like a 1:3 p:l ratio. Kennesaw subaru had 3-4 premiums. I was going to get a premium WRB until I saw the white limited all polished up in the sun
