Great defense and counter punching is boring. It wins and I can respect it, but it sucks to watch. I hate Mayweather but that would have been more enjoyable if Mayqeather beat his ass. It barely looked like either of them had been in the ring. But i pretty much expected that as its par for the course for a Mayweather fight. Pac did nothing to try and press the issue after Rd 4 so there was literally no energy in the ring.

Boxing has been irrelevant to me now for over a decade. To get me to pay the PPV money they were asking for would have required either a) someone holding a gun to my head, b) someone slipping an illegal substance in my drink or c) identity theft. At least with MMA, when there's been a hyped fight that goes flat, they have the self-smarts to have rematch for free (at least one example I can think of anyway). Who won again?

Superb defensive matchups are the most fun to watch in basketball for me.

Watching Mayweather running around is probably what I like the best about this match.

I'm going to step in again and say that defensive boxing is actually incredible to watch... unless it's Mayweather.

Can't fault Mayweather for fighting his type of fight. Casual fans don't know anything about how he fights.
I was disappointed in Pacquiao for not delivering what everyone was expecting. I've seen lesser known boxers deliver a closer fight with Mayweather. |

if people didn't chase him around it would be 2 people standing at opposite ends of the ring for 36mins. boxing is down. that's a fact and it's because fighters(if you want to call it that) like him fight not to lose. UFC ppv's are up compared to boxing over recent years because people actually fight. neither guy had so much as a bruise. the only marks on anyone were probably from the strings of the gloves on their wrists. which looked like giant wack-a-mole mallets on these puny guys. I am being unbias. in a contest of hitting punching each other they both failed miserably. it was like watching a gay version of Dancing With the Stars. which they should both do now as they are well practiced. I guess you have to be a woman to get Mayweather to hit you. |

@Special_K
Didn't say all of you, I said 90% of you. And by "You" I mean the people who watched Saturdays fight.

The real winners here were both of their bank accounts. In a couple weeks nobody will care anymore about this fight and they will both be substantially richer.

they didn't care about it during the dance off. Floyd said to him before the start of the final round, "we just made a lot of money".

If every Mayweather fight was 2 guys just standing in a ring for 36 minutes, NO ONE would watch him and Money Mayweather would not get his money. So force him to fight outside his comfort zone by hurting his wallet. Problem with most of the fighters that get in the ring with Mayweather is: They think they are a better boxer than he is. Know yourself and Know your enemy. In a contest of Hitting and punching eachother they both failed? Mayweather threw more punches and Landed at a incredible percentage. Landing 50% of the punches you threw is "failing at hitting someone"?
