Just new guys trying to fit in. Any that don't get the message from the responses and keep it up should be dealt with by the Mods maybe but we can spank them our selves for the initial transgression.
Actually their response to the whipping is a good way to find out what they are like. Some of the guys that made such posts and took their beating turned out to be valuable contributors (others of course just got all butthurt and went away).

I like your reasoning (and enjoy the roasting) but still, seeing the same posts and questions repeated over and over is annoying and the mods do literally nothing about it which means the forum gets filled with clutter and adds no value. I'm on other car forums, they don't seem to have any issue keeping their forums/subforums clean compared to this one.

I think my point stands, if they're going to allow noobs wasteful posts like these, then Squad should be allowed to troll when he feels the need, that crap is atleast funny.

I think the Mods do a great job here actually (no, not ass kissing as it is not in my nature) with the volume of traffic this site sees. If anybody has an issue they just need to report it and usually it is taken care of pretty quick. Even if something is repeated 10 times and we try to prevent it from spreading these threads still receive loads of responses so they are not totally without value I guess.
I spent a long time on a Mitsu forum where the mods were all over every single post or thread they didn't like. After a couple of years people just gave up posting anything and the place is now a desolate wasteland (it also takes about 5 minutes to open a thread by the time you wade through the deluge of banner and pop up adds they have there.)

Oh and Squad was not trolling! He truly meant ever one of those posts but just didn't think his questions through very well.
