I think it looks pretty good, a lot like the accord coupe my wife was wanting.

It looks... better I guess? The current generation Civic is the pinnacle of the appliance slushmobile, excluding the Si and Type R of course. And it's just a concept car.

Make it RWD or AWD and then we'll talk. As long as it sends the power to the wrong wheels I'd rather have something else.

If this the SI is a 2.0 Liter turbo for with 225+HP without a 3rd party tuned this is a bargain. Honda's bringing it back, meaning toyobaru is gonna have to step up.

I bet there's going to be a wave of fr-s trade-ins at the Honda dealership once these hit the showroom floor.

Sorry, but this is so ugly. The front!

Long overhang, high fender to wheel ratio (look at S2K how low that is), nose dip, like all new BMW, Lexus, Audi, Maserati,...

This is FULGY!!!

I'm a fan of the 10th gen for one reason, daily driving car. I'll take a Civic Sedan EX loaded up for my grocery/errand runner no doubt. I actually like the style a bit better than the current gen, but I know for a fact its going to change from that concept.

The RWD drive cars will be my weekend warriors.

Civic Type-R will probably be 260-270 hp after regulations are done eating it. I'm just glad Honda found their balls.

This is FULGY!!!

You can blame the FWD configuration for theatre front overhang. Unavoidable when the engine sits AHEAD of the wheel centerline.

Overall I like the shape, but Honda's current corporate grill/headlight arrangement is so ugly it gives me goosebumps.

Would. not. buy.

Probably true, not many from this forum though, we're talking about the people who bought because 'ooh shiny' not 'because racecar'.

-Good step up in practicality
-Probably a step up in fuel economy
-Probably a step up in creature comforts and gadgets
-Probably the improved torque (tarbo) will help it 'feel faster' or at least 'as fast' even with the base powertrain
-Subaru build quality/reliability is likely a turnoff and Honda still has a good reputation
-Likely it will start out cheaper than the FR-S

When I was a teenager I was all in the RWD>FWD camp, now I recognize the layout has it's merits and can be a good amount of fun properly setup and lends itself to reducing costs on the performance versions.
