That is correct. I believe some other European countries are RHD so you should pick carefully.

Version 8, version 7 was produced from 2001 until just before the evo came to America

Hmmm... I was in Japan at the time, I had thought they started exporting the Evo when they switched to a full factory line for it, as opposed to the handbuilt I through VI Ralliart Evo's. Boy that raised a stink..

Oh, wait, yeah, they waited for Subaru to test the water in America with the GDA WRX, then went in after it turned out turbo AWD's might be popular. Making me feel old!

I had a X which was completely new in terms of design. Nothing shared with the older ones.

With 9 successful versions of Evo before it, aftermarket makers were more than certain that making parts for the X was a good thing.

When the twin's launched, even the manufacturers weren't sure they'd sell that well.
