He seems pretty cool to me. From his videos, I like that he can appreciate various types of cars, from pony cars to BRZ's to his own C5 Corvette. He even liked an owner's modified GTI.

Yeah....OK, Matt. He doesn't even know what compound the pads are. One can't know if they need to be warmed up without knowing the compound. How is this guy even a thing?
He also said that the car is bumpy because that always happens on a lowered car. I think he even said it is because of the rebound on the springs...

But his videos cater to 95% of the population who don't know much about car mechanics/dynamics so it works. The other 5% can't stand him.

The rebound damping abilities of the shock absorbers are primarily accountable for being able to smoothen the ride on cars with lowering springs. Stock shocks are usually lacking in this area and you get a harsh bumping ride on anything less than smooth road.
