Yes you can. I know TiAl BOVs are used on S2000 supercharger kits.

The Rotrex based kits are running the Bypass Valve to recirculate into the system. A BOV can be installed which you can vent to atmosphere. In most cases, you can disconnect the bypass valve on the one end and have it vent to atmosphere for that 'woosh' during a boosted shift hahha.

If you have any questions on the Kraftwerks stuff, please let me know!

That's great to know! Will it sound anything like this?

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLz4QuoJXvo"]2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STi showing HKS SSQV Blow-off valve - YouTube[/ame]

I love the sound of BOV but would a SC sound just like a turbo BOV. I was looking into the Vortech BOV and it doesn't sound anything like the one in that video, so I was a little sad about that.

One of the biggest reasons I love turbos over SC kits are not only because of the potential but I just LOVE that BOV sound.

Nothing will sound like an HKS SSQ except an HKS SSQ. Their wet mouse fart sound is very unique.

So you're saying I can just slap on an HKS SSQV as a bypass valve in an SC kit?

I'm not saying that. Just saying that if you want a BOV to sound like that video, you need to get an HKS SSQ and only an HKS SSQ.

But yes, it should work in place of the bypass valve. I'd get a few more opinions on that though...I'm a turbo guy, very little supercahrger experience.

Never understood why people like the sound of the HKS bov so much. You have these awesome thunderous sounds coming from the turbo and exhaust/dump tube just to be followed by this pitiful little squeak sound.

I mean the bov does its job well and to each his own, but I just don't get it.

Pitiful squeak... I find it to be incredibly annoying. Worst sounding valve on the fucking planet. I'm instantly turned off when I hear the SSQ. 2JZ, RPS header, 64mm single with ported shroud housing, 4" titanium exhaust, sounding all glorious and then you hear that god damn SSQ. WTF?!

Imagine you're having a dream, and in this dream Megan Fox is walking all seductively towards you in the smallest bikini you've ever seen, she's dripping wet and looking up at you with this perfect "come hither" look on her face. Your heart starts beating fast and your palms start to sweat. You can't believe she's looking at YOU. You check behind you just to be sure and your heart starts beating out of your chest. Holy shit that look is intended for YOU!

And then she opens her mouth to talk and you hear Fran Drescher's voice. That's what the HKS SSQ is like.
