Compare your work on the USDM car to this APAC guide, maybe it will help. But it sounds like the Scions do not have the appropriate wiring connecting to the fuse box as well.

I used a low intensity light for my rear fog, second i will not be wiring my rear fog to my front fogs or tails, because i want to choose when to use it,

I am just fishing for ideas to still utilize the EDM stalk to control the rear bulb, but hey this is the internet, no one really reads.

I understand that some newer cars (Mercedes M class for example) sold in the US, have rear fog lights .....

i did see that thread, and i did wire it, how it should be if OEM, however the placement of the fuse and relay is different. i planned on keeping that near the BECU
